QA Engineer Intern
About the Role
As a QA Engineer Intern at Naveera, you will work in person with our team to validate how our products perform in the real world through hands-on, manual field testing. This is not a purely desk-based QA role. You will help test how hardware, software, backend systems, and product workflows come together in live operational environments, and you will gain exposure to the full system from multiple perspectives. You will work alongside engineers, hardware teams, software teams, and product owners to understand how our platform is built, how it behaves under real conditions, and how to validate that it performs reliably in practice.
This role is designed for sophomore and junior students who want real-world experience inside a fast-moving technology company. It is especially well suited for students interested in software, systems, hardware, networking, devices, and product validation. You will be trained on the job, but you should come in with strong curiosity, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn how complex systems are tested end to end.
Responsibilities
- Execute manual test plans across hardware, software, and integrated product workflows
- Perform in-person field testing to validate system behavior in real-world operational conditions
- Document bugs, inconsistencies, edge cases, and system failures clearly and thoroughly
- Work with engineering and product teams to reproduce issues and support root cause investigation
- Validate that backend workflows, system behavior, and product features operate correctly as part of the full platform
- Assist in testing product changes across devices, interfaces, and environments to ensure reliability and usability
- Observe how system architecture, networking, hardware behavior, and software functionality affect end-to-end performance
- Help maintain organized test records, findings, test results, and validation notes for internal teams
- Collaborate with hardware, software, and product owners to understand requirements and ensure product behavior aligns with expectations
- Contribute to overall quality efforts by helping verify fixes, retest issues, and support broader product validation activities
