EngineeringFull-time

About the Role

Own end-to-end product design for data-rich B2B web and mobile applications. You'll turn complex workflows into simple, intuitive, and accessible experiences; build and maintain a cohesive design system; and partner closely with engineering and product to ship high-quality interfaces at speed.

Responsibilities

  • Lead discovery and translate requirements into user flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity UI
  • Build and maintain a scalable design system (tokens, components, documentation) used across products
  • Design data-dense dashboards, complex forms, and multi-step workflows with clear hierarchy and states
  • Define and design for edge cases: empty/loading/error/offline and permission or access states
  • Champion accessibility (WCAG) and responsive design across breakpoints and input modalities
  • Run usability tests and synthesize insights to inform iterative improvements and roadmap priorities
  • Deliver developer-ready specs and partner through implementation, design QA, and release
  • Collaborate with product and engineering on scoping, prioritization, and design–tech feasibility
  • Instrument and track UX metrics (task success, completion time, error rates, CSAT/NPS) to measure outcomes
  • Contribute to content design and microcopy that improves clarity, guidance, and trust

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or equivalent practical experience
  • 2–5 years designing and shipping production B2B or enterprise web applications
  • Strong portfolio with 2–3 case studies showing problem framing, alternatives, shipped UI, and measurable outcomes
  • Fluency in Figma (auto-layout, variants, prototyping) and design system best practices
  • Excellent interaction design for tables, filters, bulk actions, modals, and complex states
  • Working knowledge of accessibility standards and semantic, keyboard-friendly patterns
  • Experience collaborating with modern web stacks (e.g., React/TypeScript) and writing clear handoff specs
  • Comfort with user research methods (interviews, usability testing, heuristic reviews) and insight synthesis
  • Clear written and verbal communication across cross-functional teams
  • Bias to action and ability to thrive in fast-paced, iterative environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience designing for multi-tenant SaaS concepts (roles/permissions, org/tenant boundaries)
  • Background with data visualization patterns (charts, maps, timelines) and real-time UI states
  • Ability to prototype in code (HTML/CSS/React/Tailwind) or with advanced prototyping tools
  • Familiarity with product analytics and experimentation to guide design decisions
  • Exposure to privacy/security-by-design principles in sensitive or regulated contexts
